What the Games include
The Argyllshire Gathering Oban Games bring Highland dancing, solo piping, athletics, heavy events and pipe-band marches to Mossfield Stadium.
Date, time and tickets
The 2026 Games take place on Thursday 27 August from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Published prices are £16 for adults, £8 for under-16s and £40 for a family ticket.
Travel and parking
The organiser asks visitors not to drive to the Games. On-site parking is reserved for Blue Badge holders, and Mossfield is around a 10–12 minute walk from Station Square.
Combine it with McCaig’s Tower
The tower and Games can fit into the same day only with careful timing. The climb to the landmark is steep, while the Games involve a full outdoor programme. Waterproof layers and secure footwear are sensible.
